Flag the SKUs actually at risk
Real problems with no formula named for you. You decide what to use.
A warehouse shrinkage report lists both a raw units-counted figure and a shrinkage percentage for each SKU. Highlight whichever SKUs are actually at risk, anything above 3% shrinkage.
The data
| A | B | C | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | SKU | Units Counted | Shrinkage % |
| 2 | BX-1 | 400 | 1.2 |
| 3 | BX-2 | 150 | 4.8 |
| 4 | BX-3 | 600 | 2.1 |
| 5 | BX-4 | 90 | 6.5 |
| 6 | BX-5 | 320 | 0.9 |
This is the actual sheet the case study hands you, including whatever column turns out not to matter. Figuring out what to ignore is part of the exercise.
Why this one matters
A raw count sitting next to a rate is a classic real-report trap. The number that looks bigger and more "real" isn't always the one that actually flags risk.
