World Cup Shirt Orders
A real exam scenario, start to finish: look up each order's country, pull the shared price and transport rate off other sheets, work out the profit, then flag every order that lost money.
Projects are multi-step builds, not single exercises: each one chains several real skills together on one dataset, the way an actual workbook gets built, not graded one isolated formula at a time. Steps unlock in order, so finishing one is what opens the next.
What this project covers
Every order lists a team, not a country, and the transport rate downstream depends on the country. Use XLOOKUP to pull the Lions' country from the team table.
This order is for 60 shirts. The price per shirt isn't typed into every order row. It lives once on a shared Pricing sheet so every order stays consistent. Pull it in and compute the revenue.
Shirts for this order travel 350 km from the factory. The per-km transport rate is stored as the named range TransportRatePerKm rather than a raw cell. Apply it to get the transport cost.
Revenue and transport cost are both worked out now, and the factory cost for this order is already known. Combine the three into a total profit figure.
Across this batch of orders, highlight whichever ones came back with no profit at all. That's the same "red when there's no profit" rule the exam itself asks for.
The dataset, the exact approach, and the answer for each step are part of the unlocked project itself, not shown here.
